Is there a chance that when you mine, you dont even get stone. Can someone answer this?

Mined 2days ago in a cave and just got nothing.

My belief was 1nature at that time.

Read through this thread and various others but still confused on something...

So there's these veins of ore scattered about right? My question is... do the veins have similar hardness?

Say I'm cave mining very soft rock (25str,q10 stone axe) and all I'm getting are stones... do I keep mining that place or find another one?

Well i have cave, and there are source of qlvl 35 tin ore's and they are easy to mine, (like 5 times on 1 stamina bar) and i found other source, qlvl10 tin ore
which is much harder (2 times till my stamina gets drained)

So there's no spots that give mostly stone than ore? That means if I mine somewhere and get stone, I should mine elsewhere since if I mine in the same spot I'll just get more stone? :?

Yes, if you have an ore tile, it'll only give ore when it gives you an item. If you have a stone tile, it'll only give stone when it gives an item.

Ores have qualities dependant on location, and so do rocks.

Ah thanks for clearing that up... Wish I knew this before I depleted 30tiles of STONE giving walls though. :oops:
