I've never had a tree that hasn't reached stage 6, and I've stunted a few.

I didn't notice any quality stunting, but I doubt jorb has changed anything.

I have cured tobacco leaves in my inventory, I'm standing at a quern, and I go to craft > potions and herbs but there is no option to make ground tobacco.

Yes, I grew them myself and dried them on my own herbalist table.

ive had 3 stunted this world and they never grew to the last stage :/

Yes, I grew them myself and dried them on my own herbalist table.

i just tried on my miner. all you need is discovering cured tobacco(taking them directly from the herb table) and farming skill to have "tobacco" in menu. (potions & herbs)

They are an abstract measurement of value. There are no ingame "points" that people are trading with or anything. Its just a point system that was devised on these here forums to quantify the values of things. It makes it easier to trade, so instead of saying "I got this huge list of goods I want to sell" and having to go over each item one by one, you can just say "I have 1000 points worth of shit". Just to put it into more perspective for you, 1000 points is roughly equal to 20 q10 pearls.
