Im pretty sure i missed something, so im asking that here: Is there a way to remove / destroy a log cabin? I read something about that it decays; but it does only decay on unclaimed land, right? How long would that take if it works that way?

the time is pretty random, it can take months
you can destroy a cabin by hands (you would need around 300-400str, depends on what tool you're using) or with a battering ram (in this case you can do it with fresh alt)

So a STR of 10 would be enough? Any idea how long it would take?

The damage you deal while destroying is the square root of your strength.

Log Cabin has 20 soak

Palisade has a soak of 25

you will need at least 36 strength to damage it with a battering ram solo. Two characters with 10 strength each is enough to do damage with a battering ram.

In mining strength lets you mine faster and con lets you mine longer. Other than that equipment makes a big difference. A bear cape, bear tooth talisman, decent quality pickaxe, and a miners helmet if your not used to mining are good starts.

If you drown with a ferryman on after coming out of a boat you get ko'd on top of the water at the mercy of whoever is after you. At least it's better then the shit that went on in world 6 though

You can build a gate by building 2 cornerposts so that there is a 2 tile wide gap between them. Right click on one of the cornerposts to build a gate. The gates work just like Palisade and Brickwall gates, except they don't require keys.
