He's got a point. If you're not far developed, you might waste less time starting over than looking for wool.

Playing for 3 years and you don't know the answer to this
If you make some bad decisions early on, especially with LP, it's often easier to restart and get your lp from discoveries again.

If I understand correctly hearth fire may be destroyed only by fire owner or owner of the land the fire is on. Am I right? There is no catch?

Also only owner of fire may walk on it?

I did, I was just hoping I was wrong. And not straight, took a looong break.
Considering the time I've put into the character though, it'll be awhile before sheep-searching time will overtake the value of the character.

yes (without leaving scents) - but: everyone can destroy hearthfires with Criminal acts turned on and leaving scents

Here's what I do. Go to a large heath or moor that you know nobody is around. Explore the whole area and when your done log out for at least 15 minutes and log in. If there is nobody else in that grid the area will reset and can spawn the animals you want when you re-explore the area. Works quite well but again the area has to devoid of anybody.

Also I discovered something about the quality of the clover and the wool you get when sheered. When the clover is fed survival acts as a softcap. Only when the mouflon is sheered is when your tool and dex become the softcap.

The last question about hit points reminded me of something.
Did anyone ever notice increase in HP while eating certain foods?
I remember grinding some cheese a while back and hp went up (possibly beyond MP). Unfortunately I didn't bother to check if it was an actual increase or just a visual glitch on the client side nor whether it restored to the original value eventually.
I did happen a few times though.
