Is there a specific biome that windsown seeds appear? Also, how do bows in this game work?

They are generally found in all biomes except for mountains.

Scent question. Does a ranger have to have scents in his inventory to summon that particular player? A ranger can't just can click on random HFs and by chance click on one that left summonable scents somewhere and kill them can he?

Cheese making. I want generic gouda and the wiki makes it seem like all you have to do is leave the cheese in the cheese racks for it to eventually change. I did some googling and some players said you have to remove the cheese and put it back before the change can take place. Does anyone know for sure if this is true? Also anyone know how long it takes for gouda to form?

To summon someone at their hearth fire, you have to take a summonable scent from your inventory and right click on the HF with the corresponding scent, and then you will get the prompt if it's the right hearth fire.

I don't know about gouda.

not sure how long it takes, but in w3, my villager who went inactive for months said her cheese racks were all gouda when she came back. (either way, replacing it may indeed speed up the process of making gouda.)

if you don't take the cheese out of the rack, it won't start to change into the next stage.
So for gouda you'll need to make a cheese, then take it from it's rack and put it back into the same rack.
Gouda is such a waste of cheese though.

Yep, for con it might be best to simply make a lot of pumpkin pies or, if you feel like planting 100 trees, mass producing apple pies is the easiest thing provided you have the milk.

the main point is, you really dont craft gouda on purpose in this game, unless you accidentally it ;)
