no, the tusk snuff buff will just restart when you snuff the second piece, and you'll likely end up with the average from the two buffs

Yes. Anything with hit box will stunt trees.

I will not abandon all hope but consider that tree lost until proven otherwise. Thankfully I did not use high Q seed because I thought that something is going to go wrong.

If you planted them on top of a cliff they may grow but its not an absolute. If you planted at the base of a cliff i really doubt they will but stranger things have happened.

You need to raise your exploration skill.

Discover everything you can early on to do so. ie. pick bark, a branch, a cone, a bough...

Make or collect curios and add them to you study area. ie. cone cows, dandilions, emerald dragonflys...
