Hi guys.

I have the impression I'm not in the main server... or I don't know what's going on...
There's no one around. When I open the "Kin" tab it says, "You are alone in the world." :|
I'm enjoying the game, but I'd rather come across other people too...

Oh, I downloaded the traditional client, there at the "Play" button.

Also, I'm having a hard time finding rabbits. They're really scarce? :v

Custom clients like Ender's make it a lot easier to spot rabbits when you come across them (and they also make everything else in the game infinitely easier, highly recommended). Rabbits themselves are quite common.

"You are alone in the world" means you don't have anybody on your kin list (friend list). If you haven't "kinned" anyone, then it will say that. You aren't literally alone in the world, but you don't have any friends yet. You won't run into strangers often, it's a large world.
Of another era.

Thanks! I'm relieved. It's nice the world is large, I was just afraid I was in other server or something. I'll get this other client too.

If you planted them on top of a cliff they may grow but its not an absolute. If you planted at the base of a cliff i really doubt they will but stranger things have happened.

Well that makes sense. Also it has already grown one stage, I assumed it was obvious but could have elaborated that on my message.

Hello all!

It looks like I do not understand the quality of planted trees. I read the wiki entry on ringofbrodar.com and the formula for the quality of planted trees.
I have a treeplanters pot Q26, soil Q32, water Q23, herbalist table Q19 and a cone of Q15. Farming skill about 30. Yet the tree I got was Q14. How comes? I expected something like 28-25 !

Help is welcome.

I remember grinding some cheese a while back and hp went up (possibly beyond MP).

Yep seems like gaining +1 in strength increases HHP by 1. It even keeps going beyond maximum hp (resets to maximum on logout though).

( Qsoil * 1 + Qwater * 1 + Qpot * 2 + Qtable * 2 + Qseed * 9 ) / 15 = Qbase of tree (normal rounded) - 5 / + 2 is the actual formula.
so, (32+23+26*2+19*2+Q19*9)/15 -5/2
=32+23+52+38+171/15 -5/+2
=21 -5/+2
So your tree was bound to be Q 16-23, assuming the formula Xcom came up with was correct.
