Nothing happens to them. They'll sprout up and sit idle until someone harvests them. =)

I just wanted to confirm that there has to be 5 tiles between 2 different village claims? Or has things changed?

If I have a string of banners and someone destroys one in the center can I rebuild that one a re-use the banners that were there before?

Thanks

Yes there must be 5 tiles inbetween, and if they destroy the centre one, then the others will all still work as your village claim.

What's the formula for the quality of rabbit products? They're my main source of leather and bones and I don't know what to do.

Well rabbit hide and bone will always be q10, might be lower if your survival and tools are lower. No way to get higher than q10, for that you need to hunt other animals. Usually rabbit hide sling made with the best nettles/taproot you can find is good for bringing down your first boar or two, which can get you better leather.

Thanks. I'll have to wait for my trees to grow so I can get a better axe, so I guess I'll have plenty of time to work on marksmanship.

Another question: why is this egg hanging at 100%?

Eggs start out at 100% and hatch at 0, why they decided to do it that way is beyond me.

Thanks. Maybe they thought the game was not misleading enough.

Is there a way I can check the quality of something like a tanning tub?

If you make something with it, you can use the quality of the product to determine the tub's quality, but you can't check it regularly like you can check the quality of an item.
Of another era.

I thought I read somewhere that there has to be 50 tiles between village claims or is that 50 tiles away from a village claim when forming a new village?

Here is what I want to do, perhaps you could advise on how or what steps and what order to do it. I have a smallish claim where I made a village claim. I then made a larger claim nearby about 150 tiles away. I am placing banners towards the second claim so that I can use CR. I would like to make a second village in the larger second claim (for trading etc)but I also want to be able to put a banner from other village claim over a few tiles inside second claim. What should my next step be? Should I build the second village idol first and leave enough tiles free so that the first claim can cover a few tiles inside BW or should I build banners first from first village?

Thanks
