Aurochs will not gain advantage unless they break your defence and hit you.

How can I prevent auroch from breaking my defence? I have UA 90. Should I have it higher?

If I recall correctly I tamed aurochs using signpost trick (you leave corner open enough that aurcoh can not get through but you can use moves through it) and I simply had to get out of its range really fast after using a move for it not to use use combat advantage move. Iirc it did not break my defence but I may remember wrong, also I didn't have that much UA back then.

Use float like a butterfly, combined with oak stance/bloodlust to gain advantage rather than sidestep
Float costs no coins, and gives 12 defence per move.
Oak stance will give you defence but costs attack, and bloodlust when his attack is low will replenish your attack.

Do I need more that Carpentry skill to craft a wooden plow? Wiki just says carpentry but it is not showing up. Crafted boards and blocks and put them in my inventory.
