Java seems to be running correctly. I am using a macbook air, i just realized that i do not have the most recent apple update which might be the problem. I will post another reply if this doesn't fix it. btw OSX update 10.9.4

While prospecting I found tin deposit. Does it mean that I can only obtain tin from that mine or other metals too?

it's a tin vein - a vein just contains 1 kind of metal - sometimes 2 nodes are close together - in that case you might find another metal in the second node

only tin, but there is a chance of getting different if there are other metals near, but especificaly about the prospection u will only get tin from the place u got the lecture

Realistically speaking, how high are the odds of spawning a troll while mining in L3 and L4?.

We got 3 trolls from 115238 tiles (+/- 1000) on L4. The odds are probably the same on the other levels too.
