well i can't answer your "timing" question but a hint: if the bear runs you still can aim / shoot on it's avatar - a good trick is to "Call down Thunder" on the bears avatar when it ran to make it come back

on the other hand i'm on slow 3G connection (with about 25 kb/s up/down with HnH) and i don't have such a huge delay - it's more a matter of training to get the right moment to shoot - also there a 2 methods: fast shooting (aim meter is in yellow, bear twitches =shoot ) or letting the bar fill completly while the bear twitches different times, shoot when full and bear has just twitched - as long there isn't real big lag it always works

Thanks for the tip, do you need a sword for "Call down Thunder" ? I'm a complete noob with combat in this game...
And will it work for every animals ? Cause when boars run, I click the swords next to the avatar to deaggro, and then I shoot them again after 15-20s, but sometimes instead of aggroing again they'll run even further...
(btw 3g connection too here ehe, from australia...)

anyone can advise when theft scent is generated?

I.e. when I pick up scent on claim my theft scent is generated when picked scent (scent generated in my inventory) or when i clicked button "Track" (if I terminate action - no scent will be left)?

Whenever you turn on criminal acts and go onto another person claim you begin to leave scents. With the exception of foraging any interactions while on that claim will leave a scent.

I have a question in regards to something probably answered but I can't find it.

I found people are able to pave on forest tiles as well as plow the land on it. My question is:

Why can't I pave or plow forest tiles?

I have indeed plowed entire fields with my bare hands and with a plow on a grassland right next-door. Why I can't do anything to forest tiles, I don't know. Do I require a certain skill? Perhaps a certain level of attribute?

if you plowed already elsewhere it looks like you got the skills needed - and there is no certain level of attribute

I haven't tried other forest tiiles, but this forest has paved forest tile. I'd try and get a screenshot, but... uhh... Not used to these fourms
