Do things deteriorate slower inside your claim? Also what skill should I get: tresspasing or rage

Nothing will deteriorate once a personal or village claim is up. The exception to that is cupboards, I believe they will still deteriorate.

Decay
Is gone. For everything that stands on a claim, with the exception of things that need to stand on pavement (Immobile structures), which will still decay if they are placed on a non-paved tile. (A claimed kiln will decay if built on dirt for example). Portable stuff that should typically be placed indoors still decays while outdoors. For example: Anvil, Wardrobe, Cupboard, Spinning Wheel, Loom, Meat Grinder, Coinpress. That may or may not be all.

Good to know, thanks for finding that. I forgot about the paved vs non paved aspect to decaying. I'm amused that the main programmer behind the game cant even keep track of what decays and what doesn't.

Is there a way to inherit from a runestone in the void? 7 runestones are in black area and can't get to them.

oh cool! I was wondering because some of my walls where dying but none in my claim, gotta get more lp haha!

I believe there is a bug to where if something is decaying for a long time and is unclaimed then you suddenly put a claim up it might still decay until you repair it at least once. I know that I've put a claim on something that was decaying like I described and still decayed after I put my claim up.

Yes as of last world this was true. Herbal tables, normal chests, and some vases would also do it to. You know if its going to be one of those items that stuck if you repair it and it still begins to decay.

Herb tables will decay on a claim, if they're not on a paves tile.
Looms, anvils and cupboards will decay when outside.

Nope. They're effectively gone. =/

What happens if you inherit one of the prior ones, then go to create a new character? do they all move along to fill the gap.

having trouble playing the game... i am not computer savvy at all so dont get super technical if you can avoid it. so heres what ive done...

I downloaded the most recent java and tested to make sure it works on my browser.
i went to my java settings and allowed havenandhearth,com access
i click the haven and hearth logo to download autohaven and click open with java web start
a logo appears followed by downloading application each for maybe 2 seconds
then all i am left with is a blank white box with haven and hearth in the title bar and the little application icon on my toolbar


i am running OSX the most recent version i think. i have a macbook pro


game looks fun but i cant figure out how to play

What happens if you inherit one of the prior ones, then go to create a new character? do they all move along to fill the gap.

All solved, xcom's magic. Made new char to inherit one of the non important ones, then used 4th speed to reach the correct one.

Okay, good to know. I wasn't aware that you could get into the blackness using 4th speed.
