Yes, if you have an ore tile, it'll only give ore when it gives you an item. If you have a stone tile, it'll only give stone when it gives an item.

Ores have qualities dependant on location, and so do rocks.

Ah thanks for clearing that up... Wish I knew this before I depleted 30tiles of STONE giving walls though.

There could be an ore tile right next to a stone tile, so you didn't do anything wrong. It also gave you lots of LP which is never wrong.

Plus, if you were eating boar/bear or something like that, your str would have gone up due to fep's. This is good because now mining is faster. You may not have gotten ores of any kind, but at least you're stronger now, amirite?

Indeed I am stronger! Though I totally used up my entire brill/sturgeon stock. Perhaps its time to go hunting~

Side question not related to cave mining. Whats the best way of protecting things in caves? I've claimed the outside entrance to ma cave but not the inside yet. That means ppl can always just trespass into my cave and take the stuff inside without leaving scents eh?
