yea J2SE 5.0 update 11 is the one I just installed on here and I got the java web start loading

loading very slow though, not sure what that means, considering how fast it did this on my comp the first time

Char select freeze... Hmm... This could be a graphics problem, or a RAM (random access memory) problem.
On the other hand, it could also be the program trying to load a file it cannot find, which would be a file error...

I need some more info, how far into select did you get?

Ok we are screwed, got it get past that screen and it runs like crap on her comp, so I guess for now we will just have to play solo , oh well, maybe if I can string a few wins in this year and can go pro and buy her a new laptop, she deserves one

It's a shame, i was kinda hoping it would be alright for you, but in the end it was not good enough, glad you got through all the hoops though, at least you know for sure, right?
