Go there, click ''updater.jar'' with the downwards facing arrow. It will download a file, drop it into a new folder (if you don't then it'll download all the other files onto your desktop making it a messy area speaking from experience). Then just run updater.jar everytime you wanna launch and there you go.

I did that, but every time I execute the updater.jar file a white window appear saying things like "update found for ..." and "downloading ....."

But then....nothing happens !!!, the white window closes and there are no new files or applications running.

I'm very confused !!!

Probable fix is that you need to create a run.bat but I don't know about that.

is there a link where I can download the files directly then ?....i'm getting really frustrated, the standar client sucks balls !

I had the issue too at first, and I chose a different java.exe and it worked, but the 2nd time I had the issue it didn't. Try that, maybe? Or contact Borka, he is a wizard at that kind of stuff and generally helps out whenever he can. I think that he has answered this a lot of time already though, so read a bit first?

I only have 1 java.exe, from the java\jre7 folder. What do mean then with a different java.exe ???

this is a thread for in-game simple questions, and custom client questions should go to each thread of the custom client of your choice in the wizards tower.

check op first and then the last several pages and you may find a similar case as yours and solution.
if not, ask there again but with more details. (copy-paste the whole error dialogues you get, your pc spec, what you have tried so far and so on.)
