Did I find a Thorny Thistle someone dropped randomly or something?

Sure it wasn't a Stinging Nettle? As a note, there are only 4 general terrain types (each with subtypes): mudflat, forest, grasslands, and swamps, so "whatever" doesn't really give much of a clue as to where you were. Thus, No, you didn't find a Thorny Thistle unless someone dropped one there very recently.

I am 100% sure it was a Thorny Thistle.

It was in the forest type area.

100%? does it say "Thorny Thistle" when you move your cursor over it?
or maybe you are mistaking it for Uncommon Snapdragon in moor?
i have never ever seen any thorny thistles in the forest. but when i first saw uncommon snapdragon, i thought it be a thorny thistle, so you might have made the same mistake possibly. or if you are definitely sure you were in a forest when you found it, it could even be a dandelion or blueberry if not stinging nettle...
and when an item is dropped by a player, it does not give you an option of "pick". you only right-click to get it.

fyi, check here for the terrain type you are looking at.

It was a Thorny Thistle for sure, and it was in the Forest area.
I did not have an option to "pick" it.

I guess a random player dropped it then I found it?

When lying on the ground it looked like a dropped Dandelion tho.

Plant type objects such as dandelions, thistles, taproot, etc. use the same drop picture. Just like all ants use the same drop image. You are correct in that it was dropped by some other player and that's why it was in an otherwise unnatural terrain habitat.

Tin nuggets x3, hard metal nuggets (steel or iron or bronze) x2, branch x4, board

A quick search of this thread would have also gotten the same information.

edit: The item list in the info box is a pain but pretty much has to be that way for the wiki to auto-index things :(

I believe one of these two statements are incorrect.

-Note: Study time passes on curiosities regardless of whether you character is logged in or not.05 Wish Bone: Randomly obtained when butchering chicken. [24hrs 1500LP]

-05 Wish Bone: Randomly obtained when butchering chicken. [24hrs 1500LP]

Keep in mind I'm new to Haven and Hearth; however, I've had a wish bone in my study for about 24 hours give or take 4 , and it's only at 41%. I have been online for about 12 hours give or take a few. This is why I come to the conclusion that you can only study while online, or that wishbones are more or less a 48 hours study.

Sorry if this has previously been mentioned, as I've stated before, I'm new.

Server downtime doesn't count towards curiosities. I'm not sure if the server has been down recently but that's probably what the issue is.

06 Emerald Dragonfly: Insect that can be captured. Moves at runspeed on swampland.

My Emerald Dragonfly quality 10 just finished and it took 2 att, it gave me 2,152 at 269% learning. I believe that makes it worth 800 base lp. This took 4 hours.

This thread should probably be close since no new curiosities have been added in months and we're just likely to get posts like this over and over again.
