You might have noticed with gates is that if you close the gate door before you fully pass through you are stuck until you either open the door or hearthfire/village travel out. Same concept works for livestock except they can't do any of those things to get out

Does Reflection on armor work the same in PVE as how it work in PVP? If im hit by a boar and i have 150/150 armor class, will i lose any health or armor hitpoints?
