whut?! (no, this is not trying to pick on you, ramones.)
i believe milk does evaporate outdoor, otherwise it does not explain why some barrels of milk cannot stay full where there are no animals - unless wild spawns like foxes and boars somehow can drink it. (they do stay full indoor or underground afaik, though.) please prove me wrong if you have some accurate data on it.

also, red bar is for being hungry = sign of eating/drinking, beige bar is for starvation. red bar always goes up and down and you cannot tell by the red bar if it is having enough or not. baby sheep and piglets DO NOT drink from barrels of cow milk, but only from female adults of the same kind who have given birth previously.

OoooOooOohh

Thanks, yea I moved my barrel to my cellar and it stopped losing milk, but I still wasn't sure if it was a calf or evaporation.

@Tonkyhonk Yes I have noticed evaporation in the past as well.

I can't really have accurate information on it, but the only "test" that I've had was having about 20 barrels of milk no where near animals and htey were all at 100L for about ... 2+ weeks. Not sure if that is long enough to count, just giving the info out.

I believe the babies do drink it. Having a barrel of milk near them a few months ago saved them from death when I accidentally killed off the mothers.

How do I determine the distance between two characters? Let us suppose (because it is the case) that I have two alts in different locations. Obviously I could determine relative bearing by partying up. But I want to know how much agility a trip between these points would take. I found the formulae, but do not know the coords of each point.

Without map coordinates, you cannot reliably know the distance between two characters beyond view distance.

I believe you simply summarized my point. Let me rephrase for clarity: is there a way to obtain map coords?

Oh, sorry. Well, other than manually finding some significant landmarks in-game and then finding them on the map, there is a client with a semi-functional geolocation tool that can do it for you viewtopic.php?f=27&t=34570
