Only way to do so is to shoot them. :( Something that kind of sucks, especially with how much arrow quality effects IEMM.

Using bows in general is a waste of time though, slings are fast enough and by the time you can use good ranged weapons you could probably just stab or cleave a beast anyway.

Thanks for the response! I agree that slings are often the best choice for hunting.

I have another stupid question: Where is the "stonehenge" or "Ring of Brodgar" in the world? Like, where on the world map? I would like to visit this marvelous structure at least once in my hearthling's lifetime.

Near the middle. On the map it is right around here:

Will placing signs actually prevent people to build that minehole? And if so, how much space can there be between two signs?

I was under the impression that minehole needs to hit solid rock (black tiles), can somebody clarify this?

Nope, it can be placed over cave passages, cave halls and even over cave ponds. It will just spawn the mine hole floor instead of the terrain that's underneath it.

Where it can't be built is in the no-dig radius of a natural mine entrance and anywhere it can hit any building or other artificially created stuff that's below.

I was under an impression that you can build Minehole anywhere but it can fail to create ladder if underneath is not right. What if you were to place minehole sign, build house beneath it in cave and then finish constructing the minehole?

um quick question. When I first started playing the game whenever I walked behind a tree there would be yellow lines surrounding my character and whatever is behind it, allowing me to collect the stuff behind it, but now their gone. How do I get them to appear again because now whenever I kill something behind a palisade or something I have no hopes of ever collecting it.
PS: sorry for bad grammer

All custom clients allow you to hide objects so you can see behind them. If you insist on using the vanilla client though, the "yellow lines" should always appear whenever you're behind an object and there are other objects behind it.
Of another era.
