I am pretty ure that you need vandalism. Note that all tresspassing, theft and vandalism scents created by the claim disappear along with the claim including the one you get from destroying the Stake.

uh no they dont?
and destroying the stake claim doesnt leave any scents, but it still requires the skill vandalism

Yeah, they DON'T vanish along with the claim. They remain.

You need Tresspassing to get on the pclaim by enabling criminal acts - that way you'll leave a Tresspass scent when entering the claim - this scent stays visible for 8 hrs RT

You need Vandalism and criminal acts enabled to destroy the claim stake - there are no Vandalism scents left after the claim stake and the pclaim are destroyed (gone)

You leave scents when walking onto a claim no matter what.
Also, how much strength is needed?
Mr. Boar doesn't like you....

That would mean 49 STR with sledgehammer, 81 STR with pick axe or 100 with stone axe, but IIRC somebody said to me that 62 STR with pick axe is enough but I could remember wrong and that doesn't give even square root, if 62 STR with pick would suffice then 49 with pcik would also. (Unless 62squared=7.87 rounds up which is kind of stupid duggestion since everything rounds down in haven.)

Yeah but he said you need trespassing to walk on a claim which is wrong

[argument about scents and trespassing]
When Criminal acts are on:
Hearthling with no black skills at all can only enter claim but not interact with anything in anyway.
Hearthling with only tresspassing can open roundpole fence gates, look into containers but CAN NOT take anything from them, enter through doors, caves and mineholes. Every action like this will generate Odor of Trespassing which lasts 8 RL hours and CAN NOT be used to summon the perpetrator.
Theft enables taking items from containers and carrying lifted objects out of the claim. Every action like this will generate Reek of Theft which lasts 2 days 16 hours RL time and CAN be used to summon the perpetrator.
Vandalism enables destroying objects, chopping trees and harvesting crops. Every action (when destroying objects only the first hit to the target will count) will generate Vile Vapor of Vandalism that lasts 4 RL days and CAN be used to summon the perpetrator.
Note: mining on subterranean claims is not criminal act at all (at least my hearthling can mine a tile that is covered by village claim he is not part of)
Sorry for possibly redundant and "Captain Obvious" post but I thoguht it wouldn't be a bad thing to have especially if new players browse this.
EDIT: Reminder that every scent you leave regardless of its type will deal one point of Hard Hit Point damage (HHP)

You don't need theft to pull anything stored on a sign post, ie; materials, clay, blocks, boards, etc. It does not leave a scent either or drain hhp...
