Hi! I'm just new and... i cannot play and i don't know why. I registered, cliced in the "play" button and downloaded some archive but... it doesn't seem to do anyting, and can't find any faq or... anything to tell me what is the next step. Is it a .exe file? It doesn't act like one for me.

If you are playing on windows it ill open up an tab named"Opening autohaven".you could choose to save the file,or to open with,opening with will launch the game,you might get security blocked by java,or security warning.

The Haven client is run with Java as a jnlp file, so you'll need Java to load it.

Wiki says that cheese quality is hardcapped by tray quality, but that doesnt seem right. I think it's softcapped, as in cheese quality is average of curd and tray if the tray is lower quality than the curd, am I right?

If the curd is higher than the tray yes it will be lowered. How much relies on how high quality the curd is. It will get lower and lower for each cheese stage as well till it is either done or reaches tray quality.

Imagine a palisade, with two corners, X and Y, that are 2 squares away (gate distance).
If I seal Y, will I still get the "build gate" option if I right click on X?

If I seal Y, will I still get the "build gate" option if I right click on X?

You only need one corner post unsealed to build a gate. This means you can seal your cornerposts as soon as you extend off of them.

you'll get a drop down menu - choose "Open with Java Web Start Launcher" ( but be sure to have set Java security and browser enabled - see my Sig url)
