Hey, anyone know if you can put a bear in the liftable slot of a boat, cause it is liftable when dead

I know that you know how hard it is to find a bear near a river, I am still using arrows in a boat to kill him, i have been trying to find one for 3 days, I was patrolling the same river 5 times in those days.

Bears need forest terrain to spawn. Make sure there is ample for them in your hunting area. Second if there are to many hearthfires nearby it can stop them spawning all together. Its referred to as civilization level. Finally If you see lots of other animals kill them even if you don't need them. Otherwise nothing new will spawn because so many are already in an area.

Sometimes you have to manipulate the environment to get what you need. Plant low q trees to recreate forest, claim over unused hearthfires and break them, and remove other animals, eventually you'll get something new if you leave and come back later.

If I build containers on laid stone will they decay slower? Because I've tried it with other pick-able structures and it seem to be that way, or was it just a games glitch? Also do built objects decay slower when they are indoors only?

1. Objects placed indoors or in a cave do not decay at all. (Houses (except houses inside caves) can still decay, and if fully decayed the objects inside are destroyed.)
2. Objects placed inside a personal or village claim decay slower than usual.
3. Objects placed on paved ground decay slower than usual.
4. Some objects do not decay at all when placed on paved ground inside a claim.

Quickly decaying objects like Looms are sometimes placed inside for this reason.

I think this has been asked before, but in what direction do trees fall when you chop them down? Do they always fall south or towards your character, which seems not always the case. Are there any rules that apply in which direction the tree will fall? Since I've gotten tree suck so many times. Once in a boulder, other time on the cliff and the worse is in another tree.

What do you mean by that "aslong it's standing in the manufacturers recommended direction" ?
