The ROB wiki isn't perfect, but usually the flaw is in missing information, not in incorrect or intentionally hidden information.

None found ... But alternatively you could plant them on the outside tile(s) of the wall. Looks nice to, and it allows for easy changing of the used crop when the desire sprouts.

plow, plant and pave should work with grapes too - maybe give the grapes a day or 2 before paving? (I did in older worlds - not done in this - look nice with houses too)

The game sometime remembers you own the boat. But not everytime.

Yep, those are planted on the same tile as the wall. And it (Plow, Plant, Pave, +something else) works for all crop types. (no waiting needed after planting crop.)
