- yes on the feeding part. (presuming. As I never tested that part.)
- Chicks do need a 2x2 free space in the coop, but don't care where it is. (Technical detail: maturing chick is removed first, and its space is counted as free space, before its mature reincarnation is returned ... in the first available 2x2 space [Top -> Bottom [Left -> Right]].)

silkmoth don't marry - they're just in it for the fun - but yes you have to have a living female and a living male together in a container to get eggs ;)

So what are the chances of female and male silkmoth dying and not producing eggs?
Also is it a rare recurrence or does it happen from time to time?
Also... on ROB it says that silkmoths spawn on grassland and forest, but personally I haven't found a single silkmoth in the forrest. Most pf the time they are in grassland, moor and heath.

So I managed to suffer my first death at the hands of an evil boar.
I remember hearing something about people reincarnating at their ancestors hearth fire, how do i get in on this?

Log in - choose New Character - in Creation Room there should be a Runestone where you can inherit your dead character - when you did and everything else in that room climb up the ladder and you spawn next to dead chars HF

Yep. Takes one tick for clay cauldron and instant for a metal one.
