Piggys?

Postby DDDsDD999 » Wed Aug 04, 2010 1:15 am

Can someone give me some info about pigs? Like what it gives if it is slaughtered or anything else? I looked on the wiki but all it says is that it is a domesticated boar.

They give pork, which can be used for bier wurst and instead of boar meat in other sausages. Also more intestines per meat quantity than sheep or cattle.

I think I will ask this question I have here rather than make another thread since it's about pigs/boars.

Is Boar taming safer than taming sheep/cows? Could I stand in the water out of reach of a Boar and tame it with the right skills without getting hit?

Looks like it is safer. I was able to tame a boar with nothing but leather armor and I only got hit once and I stayed in the shallow of a river. The system works!

They're all roughly as safe as one another except that with sheep and cows, you need to trap the entire herd before you begin taming. Yes, you can stand on water and tame any animal. Call down the thunder works wonders here.

Corner-trick also works great for taming.
