Punch - Not Just For Rabbits?

Say I train my Unarmed Combat skill to... 200.. would Punch be the better alternative to the other unarmed combat attacks that require initiative?

At that level your attack's weight would be capable of breaking their defense and dealing a significant amount of damage to all animals. Whether or not it's worthwhile depends on your strength since attacks like punch are based entirely on your strength and not on a weapon.
