Find a mine...

Hey,

i played this game with some friends on Map 1. It was really fun but we stopped playing after the first mapreset. Now we decided to start again.
Ok, we build a camp at the spawning point, played a few days and skilled our chars to find rustroot.
We collected about 20 liters rustroot extract and started to search for a mine. So we build some wagons, put everything on and went north.
We traveled about 6 hours and prospected on the way every ~10 minutes - nothing.
Now we reached the end of the map and everyone walked without the wagons in another direction and searched - nothing.

We prospected about 300 times or more in every possible place - nothing.
It makes no fun anymore....its impossible to play this game without a mine. It´s ok that they are hard to find but its not hard, its just impossible...

I would really like to play h&h again but how should i do without a mine?
Its sad and disappointing. I think we going to quit again if there is no chance to make a new start.

Farm. Hunt. Raid. Trade. Socialize. You don't need a mine to play the game.

That would be like Starcraft without flying Units but everyone else can build them.
Or Age of Empires without the imperial Age but your opponent can improve to the imperial.
Or 1000 other examples...

It´s just not the same and makes no fun.

Thx! I will try my best to get one.

But i think there should be much more mines in the game so that every noob have a chance to get one.
Make Rustroot much harder to find (maybe ex*per = 5k or something) but way more mines. It sucks like it is at the moment.

Scarcity of economy is the only driving force to keep trade possible. If everyone had access to all metals then there really would be no basis for an economy -- not to mention any city that wanted to start up would have to deal with massive inflation constantly. If anything, there seem to be too many mines.
