Newb question - why cant i build a house?

Bit of a newb question here but why cant i build my house in this nice part of the forest i found? It says i cannot build it here.

You cannot build directly onto forest tiles. It has to be paved. For a Log Cabin it's 5x5 and for a Timber House it's 7x7. You can build houses directly on Moors, Heaths, and Mudflats but it's not advised because it will take damage from decay more often so it's a general rule of thumb to pave before building anything.

Thx for reply but how do I make it paved?? or cant i? sorry for these questions but im new.

Using a plow make a full 5x5 area. Then get stones and press the hotkeys A > N > L to lay the stones on the plowed tiles.
