My friends were killed

Last night the 4 of us were working long trying to tame cows that spawned in the village. And these 8 or 10 people were just all of a sudden inside. They chased around my friends and i logged off fast.
On msn they told me they are dead and wont play anymore. What can i do? why would people kill them?

I am the lowest skilled player i cant make things. i am theo only one left. this is frustrating what do i do?

2 choices really, either quit or keep playing.

If you decide to keep playing then just do your thing... If it involves leaving your little villagy thing and being a hermit then do that until you skill up a bit. Or maybe try and join another village.

Its a sandbox game, so figure out your own thing to do. Whatever you think is fun. Maybe getting a sword and singlhandedly charging sodom while threatening to sodomise them could be your new goal in life. It would be a short life I'll wager.

nothing was stolen i dont understand. i dont know if the guys did anything to make these people angry.
they left message stones all over and nothing else changed here.

Some people just like killing for fun. Maybe one of your friends stole something, they tracked you guys and killed you. Its a sand box. It happens. If you quit its your choice.

they said my friend didn't want to join their empire and that's why they died.
but if this is my village now i can. They said they will come back tomorrow to get my answer.

Look at it like this then.. If you're not gonna join them.. You have 1 day to pack up your stuff and get as far away from there as you can.

Your best bet is to leave but remember where you were, get the mapper client if you have to, get strong and then kill them eventually

Are there communities out there with the sole purpose of stopping these kinds of groups? If so, I'd like to make an alt to join up.
