How do i get string,for constructing a loom?

String can be plant fibres, yarn, or silk thread, but silk thread is a bit valuable to waste for that purpose.

well I am sorry for going a bit off topic... but since plant fibres has got mentioned... how to turn them into linen clothing? I have tried spinning wheel it doesn't work with plant fibre a way for me to turn plant fibre into linen clothing? it's driving me crazy running out of space

You need to use a loom to turn 5 fibers into 1 linen.
Then you can turn that linen into clothing, although why you would want to do so is unknown.

which skill is required for making a loom? I don't see any loom in the days that I've been on this game

I believe that it's "Basic Mechanics".

oh that's bad, I don't see it on available skills nor in my current skill list. I will look at the graph about skill tree and then find a way to earn more LP to get that skill. Thanks for this information Blaze.
