Cave Mines

Today while looking for mines I prospected in a cave. It said Iron found 21% of used but it didn't start building or anything. Do I have to walk further into the cave and prospect?

Yes. 21% means you're about 790 tiles away from that iron mine spot. You might want to read this: http://havenandhearth.wikia.com/wiki/Prospecting

You have to walk closer to the iron mine, walk farther in and prospect, when you are 99% (within 10 tiles) your guy will walk to where the mine 'belongs' and place down a building sign.

Thanks guys. I knew about prospecting I just thought 21% of used meant that 79% of it was used up haha.

Heh carefull with cave mines, they can be hassle but if theres no option left then its still a blessing,
Just make sure you have a block in you bag so you can build it
