Best butchering tool?

Postby DigDog » Mon Aug 23, 2010 1:27 pm

What is the best sharp tool to get a high quality of? Some metal tool? Or is there a source for high quality stones I just didn't find yet to make a decent stone axe?

High quality Stones are a byproduct of smelting

You may be able to get them to a higher quality than your metal, you may not, at least there's less involved in the stone axe.

Hmm, so there's no way to get high quality stones or sharp tools in general without metalworking? Talking about Q50-100 or more here, just so that we are on the same page. Or are there even higher ones possible?

Stone has quality points just like other base resources. Mountains aren't the most common terrain, though, so good luck finding one. ANd then of course you also need a high q branch.

Past q100? Sure there are many people who can already.

You 'can' find hq stone by digging in mountains, but good luck with that.

Well I found Q50 stones in a mountain once, but I forgot where. And yeah, of course you need an equally high branch to actually get a decent axe out of it. Oh well.

Again, not Apples & Oranges.
The proper way to do this would be:
I actually sell stone axes, have a look in this thread:-your trade thread-.

You should know that by now.

and you should know that next time you do this i'm moving it to hel and giving you a 24 hour ban. people should already know how to make a pm to contact me for a trade so i don't need to link them to a trade thread that doesn't even list stone axes. and you don't need to play backseat mod and take things even further off topic.
