What happens?

So there I am, chillin' on my yacht, sipping some wine and maybe eating every kind of cheese at Q500. What's that? There's a settlement on the shore? I ask my yacht's captain to sail me to the shore, and sure enough, it's claimed. I hop out, check it out, and hop back in my yacht. But the thing is, did my high quality cheese leave a stink!?

If someone sails me into a claimed area, and I get out the boat, and get back in, and then the sailing person who stayed in the boat all this time leaves the claim, do I (Myself) leave theft scents for getting into the back of said boat and leaving the claim?

(I steal nothing from the claim when out of the boat, and only leave trespassing scents.)

I think that's the same case as with cart. Once dev wrote that the cart memorize the last person that used it, and even if it's on someones claim you will not leave theft scents.
