I got robbed just now. I took the scents to the thieves and they decline of the theft. I threaten to summon village on them and they gave everything back. But they dropped my silkworms on purpose and now I want revenge. HOW??

You can still just summon them and kill them, you know. Besides that, you can trash everything of theirs if that so pleases you. As long as your own hearthfire is protected and you cannot be summoned, there is no threat in vandalizing them.

I have a palisade, my hearth fire is inside, and this guy was alone. It's all good

If thieves took my belongings, wrecked my silk production, and slaughtered my cattle, you bet they'd get death. Sure, I'd leave scents behind in exchange but it's also cheap to lock everything there up. Or I could just be careful around my own city and make sure no one built any rams around my walls. People kill for less and criminals who act like dicks because they're caught get what's coming to them.

I put my Hearth fire inside so I can immediately get to my bed. I also used it for when I was building all of my cupboards

You can be summoned when you're offline by using your hearthfire, so going to bed is useless really but having it inside means that they can't just summon you and snipe you from what I understand.
