How do i?... Find out the QL of a log

Title says it all, i am wondering if there is a good way to determine it.

When the tree is still standing just pick a branch. There is no way to determine an already cut logs q other than chopping it up, though there probably should be.

Ah, thanks, i figured as much, but there are loads of already chopped down trees (2 logs) close to my place. But I'll just chop one up to find out the ql :)

Well, if those come from the standard spawned forest they will always be q10.
