Is it frowned upon to steal from abandoned villages?

It seems someone had to go out of their way and kill my character because I stole from an abandoned village, where walls, buildings, and tools were all worn down to unusable as well as corpses near their bed.

Happened to me before to, a real pain in the ass, while it's generally okay and I had no problems for a long time doing it, sometimes you have faggots who decide to pick up scents for fun and go kill people.

Which is why I will never buy the trespassing skill - even if some ass has decided to keep his claim while everything around rots and goes to waste it is still better then even the slight chance of being mistaken for a thief rather then just a scavenger.

If you are going to be a scavenger, you need to have your home secured. This means have your place walled and villaged (or be in a fortified home in a village)
