Hunting/Taming questions.

Postby Xgflame » Mon Aug 30, 2010 1:51 pm

I know that survival softcaps the quality of arrows, but does it also softcap bows as well?

How much marksmanship would it take to use a bow or a sling effectively?

Could i box in a fox with unfinished construction signs and shoot it down?

I've got a rope, but i'm missing quality armor at the moment, could i still pull off taming a mouflon?

If i try to tame a mouflon, will the rest of the herd try to attack me at once? If so, how am i supposed to work around that?

IIRC marksmanship caps the quality of bows your produce.

I think someone once said that it's 50 for sling, 150 for bow and 300 for Ranger's Bow. You can use them at lower stats but that takes patience because the aiming bar will fill very slowly. MM doesn't affect the damage, by the way.

You can box in everything except bears, given that you're fast enough.

I wouldn't recommend it.

Yes. Kill all except the ones you want to tame. Box them in with a strategy.

Or you might want to tame a boar first as a whole herd wont aggro you inmediatly, which is a +
if your still trying to get the hang of it.
