Grievous Damage

Hi, the wiki says that grievous damage is useless against animals because they don't have HHP, is this true? So orange and red damages what are?

Red is SHP damage. The orange number indicates how much HHP damage you would be doing if animals actually had HHP; there is no reason for this number to be displayed when attacking animals, but it's displayed anyways.
