Those Damn Boars

No matter how many signs i build around a boar, it always manages to get through in seconds and kill me. I'll even put up 2 or 3 rows of signs and they just move right through. Am i missing something?

EDIT: They are level VIII if that matters. And my MM is at 10.

Well first of all with 10 MM it might take a while to kill that level boar.

I also had that problem, try it with a second person and you try keep its aggro (In a boat)
It still might escape but after a while you will get it.

Try hunting cows and mouflons for now if your looking for hides.
