If no one is around the area where the bear is for 10 minutes (indoor works), the bear will despawn. That being said, if someone is capable of killing the bear, they can get a lot of LP from it.

Guys, two days have passed. Of course the bear is gone now.
Did you know that if you stare at the sun just as it sets, you see a green flash...
