Pumpkins withering?

Postby Xgflame » Sat Sep 04, 2010 11:21 pm

It's been more than 4 days since i planted the pumpkins, yet they haven't become harvestable, in fact i think they might be withering. What am i supposed to do?

Same here, looks like they take to almost a week to grow (despite what the wiki says). Makes me wonder if they too are affected by presence of players in the vicinity, meaning their growth being slowed/stunted if there are no hearthlings online within a certain radius.

make a beehive.

Aren't beehives supposed to affect only wheat crops?

EDIT: I also had a beehive when I first planted my pumpkins (along with some crops to be planted and some already growing wheat). A week later it still wasn't producing beeswax.

Where do people keep hearing this? If it's on the wiki, I want to remove it. It's not even logical...

I may be wrong but I think beeswax is only produced when you have some flowering plants around, like flax.

You are indeed wrong, I'm getting beeswax from wheat which doesn't have flowers.
