Abandoned stuff

Am I allowed to take it? (the kiln needs repairing, the chooks died even though there's feed around, most of the plowed land has reverted to what it was...

Abandoned or not, leaving scents is always a risk because some random wanderer could come along and pick your scents up. So it's your choice if you want to risk stealing from claimed areas. Just remember, looking into houses and cupboards is only trespassing, picking stuff up is stealing and deadly if someone finds your scent.

For unclaimed areas, well, do what you want there. Nobody can ever track that unless he sees you while you do it.

I would say its all good but keep an eye out for the following since some places might just be underdeveloped, lazy or the owners might not have yeomanry:
-If there's leather stand check for 'Fresh' hides, fresh means that they were there a few hours ago
-The life cycle of plants, Unripe or blooming carrots means less than a few hours, unripe wheat is less than two days and unripe pumpkins is less than a week ago.

I checked before and I don't think anything there has been used for a long time (all unclaimed too).
Thanks for the advice.

Find string and grab some sticks to make a dream catcher. After a few minutes you can harvest a dream from it. You'll need foraging to find string and hearth magic to make a dream catcher.
