Where can I get string?

I have no idea how to get it. I was under the assumption that I'd need to make a spinning wheel, but to do that I'd have to make boards, for which I'd need a saw, for which I'd need bones, for which I'd have to kill an animal, for which I really need a bow, because they knock my character out in one hit every time when I attack them unarmed. Of course, the bow needs string, right?

"Normal" is only a difficulty level in video games - Aso11
Jackard: Koya only raises the lynx so he can molest it later
Koya: What means "molest" ? Translator cannot translate it or do it with no logics...

Alright, I'll see if I can find a rabbit. I've only seen one so far, being chased by a fox. Thanks.

Edit:

This isn't working. I found a rabbit, got its bones and made a saw, managed to build a spinning wheel, but I can't use it. What do I do with it? Is this even what is used to make string?

String = taproot,plant fibres, etc. Just string-like things. String isn't an actual item, it's a "group" of items that all function as "string"
