Stone wall maybe but palisade? They only require 50 str and a pickaxe and I'd bet there were more people with stats like that than the few who report their 200+ str on the forum. There are a lot of people who play who don't even post here at all. Palisades shouldn't be trivial after such a short time playing in my opinion but now we need a way for a high stat thief to get away with it stats intact. Then again that's completely possible with full tradition and alt vaults even now.

After seeing this post, it made me curious, how do people calculate stuff like what stats you need to take down something, or how much the pickaxe effects it?

In the original announcement for walls, we were told that the soak values were 3 for palisades and 10 for brick walls, and that the damage calculation was (STR/10), +1 (to the final value) for a stone axe, +2 (also to the final value) for a pickaxe. I may be wrong on the brick wall soak value, but I don't think so.

Don't worry, that information is correct.

However, walls now have twice the soak value and five times the health.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.
