I use it too... except I use the Mozilla Based Flock (Speed tests confirm that it Actually IS faster than Google Chrome). Perhaps you need to reinstall/install the JRE. You should check out the Mozilla Powered Flock which you can get here:
http://flock.com/tour/, I just like the Theme, Security, and Speed but I can't believe that there's actually another person that uses Flock xD.
If Reinstalling the JRE (Java Runtime Environment) doesn't help then you should visit
http://www.havenandhearth.com/java/haven.jar and
http://www.havenandhearth.com/java/haven-res.jar Both Links will ask you to download .jar files save them to the same directory, you may be able to run these files (you may not since Java Network Launching Protocols define parameters which are often required for the .jar files to run).
Still not working? That's fine

Download this:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/rc6q0o8qk ... haven.jnlp then open autohaven.jnlp with any text editing program, minimize the window and drag haven.jar into the Address Bar of your web browser, a link should appear at the top (something like file:///Users/
hidden/Desktop/haven.jar if you're on a Mac), Copy that link and maximize autohaven.jnlp now use the Find and Replace tool. Replace "havenpath" with the link that you copied, Now drag haven-res.jar into your web browser's address bar, copy the link and replace "respath" with the copied link. You will now be able to run Haven and Hearth flawlessly, a shortcut should also be added onto your computer so that you can easily launch H&H Later (this might not appear if you have modified your Java Settings).
Are the instructions above too messy and unorganized for you? No Problem, here's a little list:
I. Download this:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/rc6q0o8qk ... haven.jnlpII. Open autohaven.jnlp with any word processing program then minimize the window
III. Now drag haven.jar into the Address Bar of your web browser and copy the link that appears.
IV. Maximize the word processor that you used to open autohaven.jnlp and use the find and replace tool, replace "havenpatch" with the link that you copied.
V. Repeat step III But instead of haven.jar drag haven-res.jar
VI. Replace "respath" with the link that you copied and Save the file.
VII. Replace "username" with your username (
This is Completely Optional and Most of the Time has No Effect)
VIII. Enjoy the most Fun Java Based Game Ever Made.
Note: If something is wrapped in quotation marks (i.e. "username") don't replace the Quotation marks, they must be there otherwise the game will not work. Also Remember that
you will only have to do the above once, after running the .jnlp, shortcuts to the game should be added to your start menu, if they are not you can simply run the .jnlp again.
