Sniping Wild Animals

Postby Shask » Sat Sep 11, 2010 11:05 pm

Few questions. I'm writing this thread from a shielded wall, kill aurochs with a sling. Should I be doing anything other than attacking with the sling? e.g. trying to recharge my attack meter.

Also, is there any way to kill boars by sniping? It's easy to run to a river and snipe them from where they can't attack you, but then they run and there's seemingly nothing you can do (I have 1unarmed and 1 melee).

run after the boar and punch it in the back, it does a lot of damage

Even with 1 unarmed? I just use the punch attack?

I've sorta found a way, just de-aggro the animal and run after it.

yea but you lose LP that way, and it will work, or it should work. That's what it says on the wiki and I've never had to worry about this

If you attack an enemy while they are moving, their defensive weight becomes 0 and you will hit and deal 100% of your damage to them.

What do you mean "you lose LP that way" - if you aggro an enemy more than once, does the LP gain decrease?

And that's why the runners always die first...

As there's no way to increase stamina, surely a runner could just, well, run away?

Could someone answer my previous question about LP please?
