Noob quetion: Where is the map?

I used a password to spawn in a abandoned settlement, hoping to work my way north where I was hoping there would be villages, but I have lost my bearings and have no idea where I am or where to go.

Is there any kinda world map? Where I can see nearby settlements/rivers so I can figure out where to go?

I can't find one in game. thanks in advance. :D :D :D

Or you can ask people, if you meet any ingame.
