Stop the crawl!

Postby henk1987 » Sun Sep 12, 2010 9:29 am

Yes, I'm aware I can set different walking speeds, but my character seems to reset to crawling speed after doing things like building or lifting. And no, I'm not hungry or anything ;)

Is this my fault and can I rectify this, or should this thread head over to the suggestion forum?

Thanks!

Your character can only _____ if he has __% stamina or above.

Sprint. 50%
Run 25%
Walk 10%
Crawl 5%

So essentially you hve 5-10% stamina.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

Hey,

Thanks for your reply! :)

I am aware of the stamina/speed limits, but my character is still close to 100% stamina when this occurs. Observe this image: I am close to 100% stamina and I have just dropped the log after lifting it for a meter or so. Before I started lifting the log, My speed was set to run. When I start to move with the log in my hands, my movement speed is (rightly) adjusted by the game to a crawl. When I drop the log however, my movement speed stays at crawl instead of resetting to the movement speed I had before lifting the log (running).

I know I can just press CTRL-R twice to get it back up to running speed, but I'd prefer if I didn't have to do that every time I lift something.

When lifting objects your speed is automatically set to crawl speed. There is no way to disable or change this, you just have to set it back to a faster speed after you drop items.

Guys, he knows. He's just saying that it should just go back to the normal/run speed, and not stay with crawl. In which case, C+I

Well it has been sggested a lot of time and we are hoping that the developers have this included in their next large update.
