why is my learning abilty 80% instead of 100? and how do i get it higher?

Get Peaceful and Change on the personal beliefs they add learning ability (when you max both you get 360%)

Learning Ability is based on three different factors: Personal Beliefs, Equipment (Ring of Brodgar and Pearl Necklaces), and temporary modifiers (Tea). No equipment or temporary modifier currently reduces your learning ability rate so you've changed your personal beliefs in a way that has reduced your learning rate. There are two personal beliefs that modifier your learning rate: Tradition/Change and Martial/Peaceful. Although I don't know how much each increment of those changes your learning rate, it breaks down to this:

Full Tradition: 0.33(100% + Martial/Peaceful Bonus)
Full Change: 3(100% + Martial/Peaceful Bonus)

Full Martial: -20%
Full Peaceful: +20%

So someone with full Peaceful and Change earns 360% base learning points
Someone with full traditional and full martial earns 27% base learning points
