is it worth it

im new to this game and before i get into it, i heard there is going to be a server reset.... and this game is alot of hard work is it worth it?

Nobody knows when there will be a reset. Could be days from now, could be months. The only thing certain is that there will be one at some point, because this is still an alpha. Starting is always worth it, if only to learn the basics.
